Bethel Research

Faculty and students participate together in research in three main areas: imaging of transient fluid events in 2- and 3-dimensions, super-resolution imaging of plasmonic hotspots, and data processing for massive particle searches in high-energy physics. These projects, while basic research, are also related to activities for student laboratories in our Fluid Dynamics, Materials and Devices, and Modern Physics courses. Previous projects have also become resources for other institutions through the Advanced Laboratory Physics Association (ALPhA) workshops for their faculty members.
